Titus Model DL drum louvers are especially useful where long throws are required. This requirement occurs in installations where the conditioned space is large, making it impractical to bring the ductwork close to the occupants. Examples of such installations are shopping malls, coliseums, field houses, air terminals, factories, and warehouses.

- The Felt seal between the drum and border stops leakage and holds the drum securely in the position selected
