IBD2 AND IBD23 CURTAIN TYPE STATIC FIRE DAMPERS

Models IBD2 and IBD23 meet the requirements for fire dampers established by:

Description
APPLICATION

Ruskin Model IBD2 can be installed vertically in walls or horizontally in floors with fire resistance ratings of less than 3 hours. The IBD2 carries an 11/2 hour UL fire damper label and is classified as a static damper for use in HVAC systems that shut down during a fire.
Ruskin Model IBD23 can be installed vertically in walls or horizontally in floors with fire resistance ratings of 3 hours or more. The IBD23 carries a 3 hour UL fire damper label and is classified as a static damper for use in HVAC systems that shut down during a fire.

OPTIONS (Not all options available on IBD23)
  • FM Approvals as Specification Tested Product.
  • Switch Package to remotely indicate a damper blade position.
  • FAST Angle for one side angle installations.
  • G Style for grille applications.
  • GA, Grille Access Type for “out of the wall” grille applications.
  • OW, Out of Wall Type for out of wall or floor applications.
  • The sleeve of various lengths and gauges to ensure field compliance with UL installation requirements.
  • Access Door factory mounted in the common sleeve to ensure compliance with UL installation requirements.
  • 304 Stainless Steel construction.
