Leakage Class I The SD60 is a UL555S Classified Leakage Class I smoke damper.
The SD60 is a UL555S Classified Leakage Class I smoke damper. It features:
- UL555S Class I.
- Maximum velocity of 4,000 fpm.
- Maximum 8″ static pressure.
- With the factory furnished actuator, it provides fail-safe operation (the damper automatically goes to the desired fail-safe position when fire interrupts power.)
- Available with factory furnished sleeves.
- Airfoil blades, which have greater strength, less static pressure, superior sealing, superior fire protection, and produce less noise.

Description
APPLICATION
The SD60M is an ultra-low leakage rated volume control smoke damper. It is equipped with “true” airfoil blades and designed to balance the airflow in ducts while simultaneously providing smoke damper protection in ducts that penetrate smoke rated barriers. The high strength one-piece airfoil blades ensure the lowest resistance to airflow with velocities up to 2000 fpm (10.2 m/s) and 4 in w.g. (1 kPa). The SD60M may be installed vertically (with blades running horizontally) or horizontally and is rated for airflow and leakage in either direction. SD60M is equipped with either a 24VSC/VDC electric or pneumatic modulating actuator.
